David had a built a successful pharma business and as he entered his 60’s he just fancied a change. We met David, discussed the market dynamics and talked through potential buyers. As David was a veteran dealmaker he still wanted to manage the sale of the business. We agreed on a plan of action where we took on the heavy lifting, writing the Information Memorandum, presenting the financials and running the sales process and buyer interactions, he in the meantime could get on with running the business without distraction only interjecting where key decisions were required. The deal was done and I think what particularly impressed the buyers were the constant trading updates and fact the business kept moving forward through the process.
